Wright Brothers Soar into History

Orville and Wilbur Wright completed the first controlled flight on December 17th.
The flight took place in the Kill Devil Hills in North Carolina. Five spectators were on hand to see 3 tests done by the brothers. The first of the flights took place at 10:35 am. The flight lasted for 12 secs. Wilbur Wright then did a test and the final test was done by Orville.
"We were very pleased with the tests," Wilbur Wright said
The successful test comes after several successful tests with a motor-less glider. The original test was suppose to take place on December 14th, but the machine stalled before take off. When asked what to do with the success of their tests, the Wrights became excited.
"We hope to take this project public." Orville Wright said with a smile. "We think this experiment will make history."
