My Favorite Ad Campaign

My favorite ad campaign is from Sony and their ads for the Playstation 3 from 2007. As you can see from the ad, Sony spared no expense when advertising their product (or any product for that matter.) They used CG images interweaving with game footage from PS3 games. Sony also shows other things that the PS3 can do other than playing video games (their online community and playing Blu-ray dvds.) They also used a popular band, Saliva, to help get people into the mood of the commercial. The images and the music fit very well together and represents how commercial gaming is now. It hit home as a gamer myself and it was nice to see some of the product in action even though the PS3 is not a shape shifter (yes that almost turned me off getting one.)
